Reasons to submit an abstract to the yEFIS 3rd Symposium

  • EFIS-EJI Travel Awards are offered in conjunction with abstract submission – these award recipients receive funds to assist with travel expenses to the yEFIS 3rd Symposium. Travel grants will be awarded on the basis of scientific merit. Membership to an EFIS-affiliated society is required to qualify.
  • All accepted abstracts will be published in the European Journal of Immunology (EJI), EFIS' official journal.
  • Over 20 oral presentation opportunities available. Oral presentations and flash talks will be selected based on scientific merit.
  • The opportunity to share and discuss your research with early career researchers of the immunology field.

Abstract submission

  • Abstract text is limited to 300 words.
  • All abstract submitters will be asked to indicate a primary and a secondary category with which the abstract most closely aligns. The selection will aid the abstract reviewers in placing the abstract into the most appropriate session, if accepted for oral presentation.
  • Abstracts can be considered for “Oral presentation (10-15 min)”, "Flash Talk (elevator pitch of 3 min)" OR “Poster presentation ONLY.” Those who select “Poster presentation ONLY” will not be considered for oral presentation or flash talks. Selecting "Oral" or "Flash talk" presentation will allow you to be considered for oral presentation or flash talk and/or poster presentation.
  • Detailed information for oral/flash talks and poster preparation will be sent by email upon abstract selection result announcement.
  • Please note that if payment (or proof of payment) is not received by the indicated deadline, we will not be in a position to evaluate your submitted abstract.

We look forward to welcoming you!
