Public Transport in Prague

Prague has an efficient and reliable public transport system, including metro, trams, buses, and trolleybuses. Tickets are valid across all transport types and can be purchased at ticket machines, kiosks, or via mobile apps such as ‘PID Lítačka’. In addition, single short-term tickets can be bought directly in trams, buses, and trolleybuses using a contactless payment card.

Besides single tickets, one-day and multi-day public transport passes are available and may be a convenient and cost-effective option for visitors staying longer. These passes allow unlimited travel across all modes of public transport and are especially suitable for conference participants who plan to use public transport frequently during their stay in Prague.

Accommodation options

Accommodation options may be shared closer to the event. In the meantime, you are encouraged to look for accommodation in central and well-connected areas of Prague, such as Holešovice, Karlín, Old Town (Staré Město), New Town (Nové Město), or other districts with good access to the metro and public transport network. You are advised to check travel times to the venue using online maps or route planners when choosing your accommodation.

Please note that any accommodation information provided by yEFIS will be for guidance only, and no formal partnerships with hotels or other accommodation providers are planned. You may also use standard accommodation booking platforms to find options that best suit your preferences and budget.
