European Journal of Immunology

This Working Group serves as the liaison between yEFIS and the European Journal of Immunology (EJI).

EJI has supported yEFIS since the first hours of yEFIS, and together we have built a strong and fruitful collaboration. Some outcomes of our work can be found in the publications listed below.

We are featuring first-time first-authors and first-time corresponding authors. Explore the initiative and policies here.

To highlight the work of early-career researchers, 16 early-career immunologists presenting their work at the yEFIS initial symposium in 2022 were invited to write a review covering a variety of topics in basic, clinical, and translational immunology. Explore the editorial and special issue here.

We are also working on:

  • Regular written contributions focused on activities from yEFIS & National YI Groups
  • Preparing contents for specific occasions like the international Day for Women and Girls in Science and the Day of Immunology
  • Promote content through our social media channels with special focus on ECR publications
  • Workshops and guidelines for ECRs covering topics like peer-review, editorial work etc.
